The Benefits of eatting Organic! 🥚

🥚 While some choose to buy organic because of the environment, even more do so for the health-related benefits organic foods have 🙌🏻


✔️ Fewer pesticides and heavy metals:

Organic grains, fruits and veggies are grown without most artificial fertilizers and synthetic pesticides. While the latter are deemed safe in controlled quantities in conventional farming, repeated exposure has been scientifically proven to bring potential harm.


✔️More healthy fats:

Did you know that organic meat and milk can have about 50% more omega-3 fatty acids? Furthermore, organic milk has been shown to have less saturated fat than its non-organic counterpart!



✔️No synthetic hormones or antibiotics:

Conventional livestock tends to be given antibiotics to protect against illness (making it easier for farmers to raise animals in crowded or unsanitary conditions). What is more, except for poultry, conventional livestock can also be injected with synthetic growth hormones in order to produce more milk or gain weight faster... Don’t want that in your food! ✋🏻


✔️More antioxidants:

Some studies have shown that certain types of vegetables, like organic onions, can have 20% or higher antioxidant content than conventionally grown counterparts. Interesting!
